This well organized kitchen with fine maple cabinetry is centered with a large island, capped in uba tuba
granite and ideal for preparation, service and storage. It is perfect for a "whole family cooks" household.
The expansive windows and surrounding bisque Corian again open this space to the outdoors.
Long designed the custom tile backsplash to blend with the walls at the owners'
request - it was not to interfere, but to enhance the wall color.
Directly linked to the conveniences of the kitchen is the breakfast area treated with another serving buffet enhanced by a
collection of teapots, a favorite of the owner. The hand painted set of six French matted
vegetable prints echo the symmetry of the window wall, which is draped in a double tier treatment and edged with a
minute plaid. Chair cushions in another print pull the reds together.
The custom designed area rug marries practicality with softness.
