A Classic French home in Suburban Philadelphia, PA.
The client requested a subdued color palette in the octagonal shaped library, which transitions from nature's
own background. An extensive duck decoy collection was to be highlighted, but softened with comfortable seating
covered in soft fabrics in neutral tones. Rich damask brings an elegant drapery treatment into an intimate setting.
The butternut walls are just the right combination for the subtle shifts in color value.
Just behind the library and off the family room, the sunroom gives the feeling of a terrace with the year-round
comfort of an interior space. The floral, greenery, subtle drizzle of the fountain on the pedestal, French style
cast aluminum furniture, and expanse of open windows combine to enhance this indoor "outdoor" living area.
